v     Holy Week at Kits

With the celebration of the resurrection of the risen Saviour last Sunday, we finished up a busy week at Kits.  We thank Ryan and Bobbi for their thoughtful preparation of the multiple opportunities to prepare ourselves in marking the death and resurrection of Jesus.  We thank the many volunteers who contributed to the words, music and hospitality.  We have said farewell to Ryan in a formal pastoral role at Kits, and welcome to Mark Fox.  We are happy that Ryan, Elisabeth, and Isaac, and new baby  will continue to be part of our community for the next two months until moving back to the States.

v     Preaching Series – The Gospel of Mark

Join us this week for the first in a series of messages that walks through the Gospel of Mark. This week, in follow up to our Easter Celebration, we begin with an examination of the awe of the resurrection as seen through the eyes of the 3 women to whom Jesus appeared.

v      Life as a Christian in the Maldives –  Sunday April 11^th – 11:00

Bring your coffee and join Leita Edwards as she shares with us her experiences of life as a Christian in the Muslim country of the Maldives where she and her husband Gee have been living over the past several years. 

v      Youth Event – Friday April 16^th

Please join Bobbi for a Recycling evening, sorting the precious bottles and cans that are so quickly adding up to our fundraising goal in support of God’s House of Many Faces.  To this point, our recycling program has raised $270.00 on our way towards $2000.00 in 2010.  Congratulations and thanks to Low, Bobbi and the Youth Group!  Please bring your recyclables to the church or the cash you receive from returning your own recyclables, and mark the money – “recycling program” to have it added to our project funds!  Thanks all!

v      Teaching opportunity – Pre-K/K Class

The Sunday School teacher team is looking for a couple more teachers for the PreK/K class.  You can look forward to working with children who are curious, energetic, and delightful.  Please speak with Bobbi if you, or someone you know, could serve families and our community in this way.  THANKS.
