Palm Sunday is the celebration of the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem and marks the beginning of Passion Week, Jesus final week before his crucifixion.

Passover is the celebration of the miraculous escape of the Israelites from Egypt that ended years of brutal slavery. Passover is an important metaphor for us in understanding god's act of redemption through Jesus.

A  5-Sunday Lenten Series from March 1- March 29

Angels are central in the birth narratives of Jesus found in the gospels of Matthew and Luke.   Angels are messengers of God.   But these messengers did more than inform the characters in the story about what was going on; more than simply instruct them about what to do. These were messengers who brought news of hope, promise, peace, joy and comfort that was meant for a nation struggling under the oppression of the Roman Empire and a world plunged into darkness. Throughout Advent we will explore the message and meaning of these angelic messengers for us today.

Song in the Borderland is a sermon series/ small group study that explores how as Christ followers we can 'sing our unique song' in the midst of our culture.  Through this series we will consider what it means for us to live effectively and influentially in our world.

Stories of an Emerging Church: The amazing, and often harrowing, stories of a radical and counter-culture movement initially known simply as "The Way" are told in the book of Acts in the New Testament. Next Sunday we begin an 8-part series, 'Stories of an Emerging Church', in which we will explore the early days of the church.  The focus will be the lessons learned and the principles we can apply in our endeavour to understand and be the church today. "Why bother?" is what a lot of people are asking about the church, today. Is church necessary to knowing God? Is being part of a church essential to being a Christ follower? Do the old paradigms for church work any more? Over the next four weeks, we will explore what it means to be church and attempt to rethink central ideas about the founding of the church, the Great Commission, Spiritual Gifts, and what makes for True Unity.
