00:00-01:00 Scripture, Galatians 6:7-10
01:00-24:51 Sermon, Monica McKinlay.
Text quoted in the sermon:
- at approx 16:00: “We may not be able to see very well yet, and may become overwhelmed by how crushing the darkness continues to be. But the fact that the day has not yet come in the full is by no means a reason to despair that it is only dawn. We must herald the dawn. Proclaim it. Seek to participate in it in every way we can and encourage others to do so as well. Yes, we have a very long way to go. Yes, there is much that is wrong and broken and vicious in our world. But another world is coming. A just world. A rightly related world. And it is in that that we put our hope, and in the One whose Kingdom it is, even as we work toward it in the here and now.” (Jonathan Wilson)
- at approx 21:40: Three questions for reflection:
What are you learning in your physical garden that speaks to your soul about your garden of life?
What kind of harvest do you want to reap in your life? Invite God into this dream. What kind of harvest does God want to reap in your life?
What seeds are you sowing now that you may or may not be aware of that lead to destruction? Allow God to reveal this to you and to lead you down a different path. You may need others to help you in this.
